Staff Pharmacist
DEPARTMENT: Pharmacy
POSITION: Staff Pharmacist
STATUS: Part Time
1st/2nd Shift
Must be flexible to work other shifts to meet staffing needs
DUTIES: Interpret and evaluate physician’s medication and IV admixture orders with clarification as necessary
Accurately compounds, labels and dispenses medications and IV admixtures
Supervises technicians and students in the proper packaging, labeling and distribution of sterile and non-sterile medications
Assists with check-in and storage of all drugs and supplies and provides assistance to technical staff when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold a B.S. degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy and hold a license to practice in the State of Ohio
Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred
Minimum of one to three years experience
Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Able to perform clinical, distributive, and pharmacy computer
