Michele Skinn Elected President of Ohio Association of Healthcare Philanthropy

Michele Skinn of the Fisher-Titus Foundation in Norwalk, Ohio was recently elected president of the Ohio Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (OAHP). The organization is a membership organization for healthcare fundraising professionals.
Skinn has been a member of OAHP since 2001 and has served on the OAHP board of directors for five years, was president-elect in 2009 and vice president of programs for three years.
Skinn has more than 24 years of experience in the field of development and has been in her current position with Fisher-Titus Medical Center since October 2001. She earned a bachelor of business administration from Kent State University. In addition, she has received certificates for attending a fund development education seminar at the Williamsburg Development Institute and completing courses in planned giving at the Planned Giving Institute of William and Mary.
OAHP was organized in 1970 to provide a statewide organization for development executives and professionals of non-profit hospitals and other health-related institutions. It provides professional education about fund raising, encourages the recognition of the role of an organized fund development program and promotes accepted ethical standards in the practice of fund development.
