FTMC Volunteers Recognized
07/15/2010 NORWALK - Volunteers at Fisher-Titus Medical Center logged more than 60,650 hours in 2009. During the 34th annual Fisher-Titus Medical Center Volunteer Recognition Luncheon banquet held recently at the Shady Lane Café, Fisher-Titus Medical Center honored 90 volunteers with special awards for achieving milestones ranging from 100 hours to 9,000 hours of volunteer service.
Top honors went to Doris Bader, who received a 9,000 Hour Award; Alma Chaffee and Virginia Light, who were presented with a 7,000 Hour Award; and Maryann DeLong and Ruth Wilhelm, who both received 6,000 Hour Awards.
Four volunteers achieved 5,000 Hour Awards and include Florence Felter, Dorothy Hershey, Ruth Petrey and JoAnne Waugh. Volunteers Ila Arhar and Irma Homan received 4,000 Hour Awards.
